As you know, this is important because voter suppression laws represent an attempt to keep themselves in power beyond the point where the majority of Texans support them. Some would argue that point's already been reached (e.g., "TX is not a red state, it's a non-voting state.") Going forward, we all should be trying to include as many people in the decisions as possible, and that starts with voting.
