Now I know why I love reading your articles. You know Ernie. I first met Ernie in 1972 when I participated in my first encounter with politics. I learned a lot from Ernie and Oralia. So here I am and in my golden years I once again became involved with politics due to Trump. Now Texas also needs a CHANGE, BETO for Governor. Abortion topic has encouraged WOMEN to get more involved. It is not just abortion but the overall health wellness of each woman. I have met so many women for abortion but with no idea how it further affects the overall medical wellness of ALL female bodies. I hope this is spelled out in ordinary down to earth words for the population to understand. Once again, THANK YOU, I look forward to reading your articles.

Ernie was/is a huge influence on my thinking about democracy and citizenship. The virtues of both are under attack, and I hope my words encourage our fellows to stay engaged.
