On its second birthday, much gratitude to all of you on this journey with me and some thoughts on how I want to improve Life Its Ownself during the year to come.
I’m so glad Life Its Ownself continues to provide such high-quality thought provoking content, Deece. And I’m sure you’ll find a path to a podcast. I can’t imagine that someone out there with such talents wouldn’t jump at the chance to work with you. I’m looking forward to reading your Substack in the coming year.
I rarely have enough time to read the things I really want to read, and certainly not enough time to respond to them, or review them, or even comment on them. I read you with each submission because I feel like if there’s something critical in the world I should know, you will tell me about it, or at least comment on it. Thanks...
Happy anniversary to "Life its Ownself," by the estimable DeeceX, ladies and gentlemen. First thing I read every morning I see it in my inbox. Treat yourself and subscribe. This is a man of great political experience with terrific historical insights to Texas and beyond, and he's a rather courtly fellow, too, who I am proud to call a friend.
Congratulations! Like the others who have commented, I appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience and insight. Is it time to renew the subscription? I would be happy to do so.
Now you're into the terrible two's. It's time to act out and just say NO. Happy Birthday, Life Its Ownself!

Happy birthday. Looking forward to your insights during this fulcrum year.
Yea! Bring it in on big and bold.
You've got us in your fold.
Focus on truth before we're all too old.
Podcast it and then remind us of what you told.
