I admit, my optimism was a little low for much of November. John+Margaret restored it — and reminded me to let others share their lives as a way of recharging me.
I am grateful for you in my life, and as a subscriber! <3
I started out depressed for you, and then I became concerned for you, oh and next angry for you or at her, and then I became so glad to know you, and know a bit of those who know you. I ended thinking our world that sucks on many levels, in many states of this U.S., with so many dumb people, nothing-burgers many everywhere, is still a grand place since I have friends like you❣️
There's a challenge to be in the world as a stakeholder — as someone who care about and feels responsible for how it's going. It ALWAYS will be going badly; that's the human condition. So we have to recharge ourselves, and for me good friendships and celebration are the way to go.
Stakeholder and your definition does explain the distress. I wish there were a higher % of stakeholders, but I never know the struggles of others. The world is a big place to care about if you lost a job, or marriage or worse. I will try to be more Deece-tolerant of the world going badly.
Beautiful piece by a full-of-wonder friend writing about two other full-of-wonder friends! Thanks!
Full-of-wonder is the way to be. There's too much wonder wandering around.
Thanks for your subscription, your comments, and your own excellent "A Billion Worlds!"

You I have found little to buoy my hopeful
spirit. Thanks for sharing this moment. Happy that you were able to take part.
