I got to work with him and Bill Whitehurst on the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the 1989 workers' comp reforms. What a privilege! And it cemented a lifelong friendship/mentorship with David.

Somehow, I wish we could regenerate a "Wildly eclectic universe" again. Should we try to light a new spark?
